Ms. Momjian holds a certificate in Art and Antique Appraisal Studies from Pratt Institute and has completed the Smithsonian Institution's Museum Collections Management Training Program. She is certified in the Appraisal Foundation's Uniform Standards for Professional Appraisal Practices and is an accredited member of the American Society of Appraisers.
Why use an independent appraiser? An independent appraiser is not in the business of purchasing or selling property. They are in the business of appraising: knowing and analyzing the market and having an objective viewpoint. At ArtSource, we provide unbiased valuation, based upon years of experience and knowledge of the art and antique markets.
Appraisals are conducted for a variety of needs, including Replacement Value for Insurance Purposes, Fair Market Value for Estate, Probate and Charitable Contributions, as well as analysis for sales and purchase advisories. All appraisals are professional, fully documented and completely confidential.
Contracts delineating the scope of services, as well as estimated costs will be submitted for approval prior to beginning the appraisal process. Upon completion, the appraisal report is provided in duplicate, with a copy also available in digital format. All fees are based on an hourly rate.
